Jessica asserts Beverly Hills 6750’s affiliate exists?

Tuesday, April 8th, 2008

THE CASES.
At press time, the issue between David and Beverly Hills 6750 had been elevated to the court.

Two estafa cases were filed against David by his partners at the Beverly Hills 6750.

David also has two cases against the company he used to lead.

Jessica told PEP: “The first case has to do with what happened to David in Greenhills. That was filed before the NBI for the carnapping of David’s Porsche, the robbery of his personal belongings, and the beating he suffered. I think the investigation is ongoing naman, and we are very thankful that the NBI is doing its duty diligently. They even made me prepare an affidavit on my involvement in the incident. We are confident that the evidence we submitted and the admissions that they have made will be sufficient for the NBI to complete their investigation.

“The second case has to do with our rights as stockholders of the company. That was filed before the RTC (Regional Trial Court) of Makati in order to have the company subjected to a full audit. The case is moving also, but I think the lawyers of the company have been doing everything they can to withhold from the court the company documents in their custody. They keep making accusations but do not want to bring out the documents in their custody naman. What we want is to bring out the documents so that the truth will be known.”

Two more cases are in the offing but Jessica was advised by her lawyers not to discuss them before media.

In her conversation with PEP, she said: “Marami pang susunod…Ang hirap kasi it’s more them, them talking, ‘di ba? But if you see the document that they filed and yung statement nila, you will see…You will parang think, ‘My god! Gano’n pala ‘yon.’ Pero yung lumalabas sa media, iba. Parang gano’n. Iba yung sinasabi nila.

Despite the controversies surrounding them, Jessica remains positive. Some people may have been reacting negatively to the issues hurled at her husband, but Jessica says, “It’s really just one group of individuals making all these unfounded accusations.”  more here.

Jessica breaks silence on Beverly Hills 6750 hubbub

Sunday, April 6th, 2008

There was a brand new BMW X5, which costs 5.6 million pesos. A man clad in a business suit gave the expensive car to his wife as a gift. Cameras flashed and the public witnessed the stirring moment. The lady uttered in tears, “I just want to say, no one has ever loved me the way he loves me.”  That scene changed the life of David Joseph Buenvacz and Jessica Rodriguez drastically.

Six months later, the former high-profile couple disappeared from the showbiz scene. They left their posh house in Ayala Alabang, and now have “no permanent address” in the U.S. They left Beverly Hills 6750, the company they launched almost two years ago, and are now exploring other business ventures outside the country. They left show business abruptly, leaving behind a string of controversies.

PEP (Philippine Entertainment) had chronicled the entire Beverly Hills 6750 hubbub—the alleged confrontation between David and his Chinese partners in Greenhills, the couple’s resignation from the company, the filing of charges, including the discovery of Beverly Hills Surgical Institute’s (the clinic’s supposed partner in the U.S.) nonexistence … more here

Chairman Retreats

Thursday, March 27th, 2008

According to the Manila press, Ong is suing Bunevacz for embezzling funds from a cosmetic surgery they own together — Beverley Hills 6750 in Makati City.

While Bunevacz had long been renowned for his generosity — often shouting his staff Starbucks coffees — it was his purchase of a Porsche Cayenne in the same month he bought a new BMW for his wife that raised suspicions.

An external audit unearthed a “glaring misappropriation” of funds by the executive, including a deposit for the BMW, personal travel expenses and private school fees …. more here

i live here in california and although i don’t
know these people, i figured their so called company in the u.s. was phony.
it’s pretty obvious and unfortunately, a lot of people back home get suckered
into things like this…most esp. when it talks about “hollywood” or “u.s.”
sad but true. the name itself is bogus. be careful and ALWAYS do your research
first!    Sexyback1

from the start, i have strong feelings that both
personalities are crooks. when i used to live in Manila, i wud often see
Jessica in the lobby of Mandarin Hotel where i do my facials & haircuts. I’ve
seen her twice in diff hotel lobbies as if waiting to be “picked up”. Social
Climber…she shud have taken lessons from Gretchen Baretto.  Ny belle

when beverly hills was first promoted here in
phil, it sounded as too good to be true. personaly, f ganyan ang gut feeling
ko, it means hndi maganda yon and hwag nlng gumastos ng pera para sa ganun
company.  Taling

That BHSI’s Brea address is no more than RicaDonna
Beauty Salon misskopinas

con artist naman talaga si David Bunevacz.
Ruthkrystel

Actually, hindi lang si David ang may kasalanan
nito pati partners niya. Malamang alam din nila ito or if hindi man, they were
stupid not to check out before shelving out such huge investments. Remyr12

BH6750’s affiliate BHSI has no valid address in Beverly Hills, California, and
no contact number at all in the United States.

no
longer existed at the time Beverly Hills 6750 was launched in Manila.

In other words, 1-800-A-NEW-YOU was nothing but an
answering service. It was an outfit for hire to all clients-whether “plastic
surgeon, dermatologist or eye care specialist”-who might want to lease a phone
number for their “orders and referrals.”

What
business did it have enticing clients to trust the Institute with the surgery of
their faces and bodies when the Institute could not trust them with their
address and number?

To this day, the public has not been told that the
Beverly Hills Surgical Institute
no longer exists.

More disturbing, if no one had asked, the public
would not even have been told that the Institute had closed as far back as
2006.

At the time Beverly Hills 6750 was launched, the
Institute no longer had a single clinic in operation.

Why does Beverly Hills 6750 still claim to be
affiliated with something that no longer exists? Why does it position itself
as the first and only branch outside the U.S., when the Institute no longer
had a single viable clinic at the time of 6750’s launch?

“famous Beverly Hills Surgical Institute,” may have
misrepresented itself because, in fact, there is no such U.S.-based Institute.

There was no license ever issued to BHSI or any
business entity close to such name. To the Business Licensing Department, BHSI
is non-existent or may be illegally operating without the required license.”

BHSI does not exist as a legal business entity and
probably never existed as such. We have been dreadfully misled by its alleged
reputable, celebrated, and esteemed existence and operation in California, as
well as the existence of a legit and valid affiliation with such a business
entity. It is nothing more than a cheap 800 number and ambiguous website.”

for us, there was a criminal mind behind it, so to speak. There was an obvious
deception attempt

David Bunevacz sued for estafa

Wednesday, March 12th, 2008

Bunevacz and his partners launched BH6750 in 2006, boasting that it is an affiliated of Beverly Hills Surgical Institute (BHSI) of California, USA, that purportedly “more than 10 years ago started and brought aesthetic plastic surgery and aesthetic dermatology into the mainstream of the Hollywood community.”

The BH6750 official Website also states, “This affiliation provides Beverly Hills 6750 with a platform for exchange of experience in best practices, clinical protocols, and the latest technologies.”

However, a disturbing report by Philippine Entertainment Portal (http://www.pep.ph) said that even before BH6750 opened in Makati in 2006, its purported US affiliate had already closed shop. In a nutshell, the claims made by BH6750 regarding its affiliation with a supposedly top US cosmetic surgery outfit could have been bogus from the beginning … full story

Beverly Hills 6750 mess: Estafa raps filed vs Bunevacz

Thursday, March 6th, 2008

GmaNews.TV – 02/01/2008 | 05:20 PM

Former athlete-turned TV host David Bunevacz was charged Friday before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office for alleged illegal disbursement of company funds from a firm which he once headed.

The case was based on the complaint of Tyrone Ong, director of Beverly Hills Cosmetic Surgery and Skin Clinic Inc., the firm which Bunevacz headed.

Ong claimed that Bunevacz, then president of the company, asked him for advances on several occasions from 2006 to 2007, saying that the firm needed money for operational expenses.

Since he trusted the respondent and considering that the company is a fairly new corporation that would need operating funds, the complainant willingly advanced money whenever Bunevacz asked him.

But in the last quarter of 2007, Ong noticed Bunevacz lavish lifestyle which gave rise to the suspicions that the firm’s money was being wasted.

To erase doubts in his mind, the complainant together with other investors decided to hire auditors to conduct an audit of the corporation’s operations.

The auditors then discovered fund were being disbursed although these were not related to the operations of the company.

Bunevacz of 181 Aeridis St. Pacific Village, Alabang, Muntinlupa was then charged with two counts of estafa for the alleged illegal disbursements of at least P1,821,581.00. … full story

Bh6750 with U.S. affiliate – NON EXISTANT

Wednesday, March 5th, 2008

(Philippine Entertainment Portal)
Two executives of the beauty clinic Beverly Hills 6750 confirmed that its supposed partner clinic, Beverly Hills Surgical Institute, ceased operation in the United States as early as 2006.

“This arrangement with Beverly Hills Surgical Institute was entered into by David [Bunevacz],” confessed Beverly Hills 6750 Managing Director Ed Santos to The Buzz host, Boy Abunda, in a special taped interview aired yesterday, February 3.

This claim is consistent with the article posted by PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last Friday, February 1, divulging the real status of the aesthetic clinic’s tie-up and arrangements with the Institute.

Dr. Santos and Medical Director Abe Marinduque added, however, that doubts were already brewing inside the organization for quite some time, prompting initial investigations by some friends … full story

Bunevacz in hot water again?

Wednesday, March 5th, 2008

It looks like David Bunevacz, former president of Beverly Hills 6750 clinic in Makati, is in for some more headaches.

In the course of an audit investigation initiated by the owners of the clinic to find out the extent of David’s mismanagement, they have unearthed another sordid detail in the controversy.

It now appears that a supposed tie-up between Beverly Hills 6750 and a Beverly Hills Institute in California was a SHAM because there never was a Beverly Hills Institute to speak of.

Based on reports gathered from the US, Bunevacz signed an agreement with the Beverly Hills Surgical Institute in California represented by a certain Thomas Oseransky who, sources say, was a classmate of David’s in high school. (Bunevacz is a FilAm who grew up in the US.)  … full story
